Care for a Cup of Tea?

So as I started to sketch these teacups, my mind wandered off to that of 19th century England, where “tea and balls” were a high society thing and asking someone if they cared for a cup was actually considered as host ethics (still is, but oh well)

Anyway, the era of the 19th century was a very difficult time for women who fought for their rights, and people struggling to accept change from monarchy/colonialization to democracy/freedom.

The 19th Century was also known for the Industrial period where manufacturing methods began to change and that brought out a new light.

All in all, the 19th century was particularly one of those times in history dedicated to change and making new things happen.
