Since it is going to be the last book haul of the decade (and the year) I thought that it would be a good time to post one final book haul for the year.
So, basically, these books were recommended to me and I had ordered them on Amazon, so most of them haven’t arrived yet. Anyway, here’s the list:
- Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul by Jack Canfield- If you’ve heard of the Chicken Soup for the Soul, then the title is fundamentally self-explanatory. It contains over a hundred stories and poems written by teen authors about their life experiences over various topics. It has three other parts- II, III and IV.
- Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul ( A Tough Time for Teens) by Jack Canfield – This is meant to be read by older teens as it covers a lot of mature and tragic topics. I did read a few at random and all of them made me shed tears at the end, so make sure to have a box of tissues handy as you read this book.
- Chicken Soup for the Soul – Like Mother, Like Daughter: This book contains 101 stories about the similarities that a mother and a daughter share; celebrating the universal mother-daughter bond shared by all mothers and daughters alike.
So those are the six books that I got for the end of the decade. Reviews for all the books will be posted once I finish reading them.
