Summary:- Greg Heffley’s great aunt recently passed and she has left a share of her inheritance to the family. The family decided to use the money to invest in making big changes to their house. But things don’t go as expected.
Apparently, the house has a lot of renovations to make, starting from rotten wood to toxic buildup in the walls. Will they be able to live in the same place any longer or will they have to move out to make amends?
Opinions about the book:- Diary of a Wimpy Kid and I go way back to the third grade, so if Jeff Kinney still publishes sequels even when I’m a high school senior, I wouldn’t think twice before buying a copy.
I actually didn’t expect the book to be about the house when I saw the cover, because I actually thought that it was about his school or his street. So that did give me a change in perspective. Plus his fear about the “Grout” did seem a bit funny and added to the humour of the plot as well.
Rating:- I honestly loved the book and the series, it really gave me a good laugh after I read it, so I would definitely give it a five on five.
